Sweet Recipe: Old-fashioned Bourbon cocktail
Ingredients
5-7 Dhampur Green Rough Cut Brown Sugar Cubes
2 to 3 drops orange bitters
1 tsp of coarse orange rind
Few fresh orange slices
1 ½ to 2 oz. bourbon
Ice cubes
Directions
Place brown sugar cubes on a cocktail napkin.
Sprinkle orange bitters over the sugar cubes. (Napkin will soak up excess bitters.)
Transfer cubes to a 10-oz. old-fashioned glass.
Add orange slice and a few drops bourbon to glass.
Swish sugar cubes and orange slices.
Add 1 1/2 to 2 oz. Bourbon, and fill glass with ice cubes.
Sprinkle some orange rind on the drink.
Serve well chilled.
